FIRST BIG CDFB PROJECT EVENT at Hotel "Renaissance" Minsk

The round table “Enhancing effectiveness of international technical assistance in Belarus” and the conference “Main tasks and perspectives of EU-Belarus cooperation in the field of international technical assistance in 2014-2020” will be held in Minsk on October 14th.

During these events approaches to upgrading efficiency of international technical assistance (hereinafter – ITA) in Belarus will be discussed and determined.
During the Round table it is planned to:
- analyze practical features of the existing ITA coordination framework in Belarus;
- outline the range of the most problematic issues related to ITA coordination which are faced by implementers of EU-funded projects.
The results of the Round table will allow determining the areas of activities in the sphere of ITA regulation system improvement in Belarus.
During the conference strategic vision from the sides of both EU and the representatives of public authorities will be presented in relation to further cooperation in ITA sphere in the mid-term perspective and steps necessary for successful joint implementation of programmes and projects will be indicated.

The events will be held within the ITA project “Capacity Development Facility to support the implementation of sector programmes under the ENPI Annual Action Programmes for Belarus”.
The project is funded by the European Union. Project partner from the Republic of Belarus is the Ministry of Economy.
The project is implemented by the consortium GFA Consulting Group GmbH (Germany) and ICON-INSTITUT Public Sector GmbH (Germany).
One of the tasks of the project is to render assistance in coordination and implementation of EU external aid to Belarus based on the principles of Paris declaration, as well as assisting in determining and coordinating further EU aid to Belarus in accordance with EU annual action programmes.
