Round table event on Analysis and De-bureaucratisation of the Present Legal and Regulatory Basis of International Technical Assistance (ITA) in Belarus on 10 March 2015.

Being organised upon request and convened under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus, this event addressed directly to the task assigned to the ministry by the direct Instruction of Prime Ministry of Belarus. The Ministry of Economy was requested to re-analyse the Belarusian ITA legal and regulatory basis recently being applied within the authority of the Council of Ministers. As result, the Ministry has to prepare proposals for a possible maximal de-bureaucratisation of the related legal background of ITA processes and regulations before 1 April 2015. In this context this event had the following purposes: i). to review critically the existing legal and regulatory norms and procedures used for ITA coordination and implementation in Belarus; ii). to discuss and formulate preliminarily a set of presumable actions and solutions allowing to introduce de-bureaucratisation and simplify generally the system of ITA management.
