A 12-membered group of Belarusian civil servants and governmental ministerial experts have participated during the last week 28 June- 04 July 2015 in a Training Study Tour to the Republic of Georgia. The main subjects of the Study Tour included the EU-Georgia cooperation topics and implementation mechanisms together with functioning and reform efforts of the civil service in Georgia.
The Belarusian group has been received by the high ranking officials and experts in the governmental mechanism in Georgia including the head of the Georgian governmental administration and First Deputy Ministers of two ministries. Beyond them leading experts of different ministries and agencies spoke about their situation and tasks ahead in increasing effectiveness of external assistance, reforming of the governmental administration and many other topics. Implementation of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement has received great attention during the consultations with both the central governmental administration and the line ministries and agencies. The Belarusian group of experts has been received by all the numerous governmental organisations. They were met with outstanding attention, professionalism and friendship. The knowledge and experience received is intended to be used in the Belarusian practice.
